CALR driver mutations

CALR driver mutations

Calreticulin is a protein implicated in a variety of biological processes, including adhesion, proliferation, and apoptosis. Mutations in CALR, encoding calreticulin, are commonly seen in patients with MPN.  CALRexon 9 mutation is considered to be one MPN driver mutation directly contributing to the disease pathogenesis.
