Learning objective: After reading this article, learners will be able to summarize real-world evidence for momelotinib in patients with myelofibrosis and anemia, including its effects on hemoglobin levels, transfusion independence, and other key hematologic outcomes.

Do you know... In the MOMGEMFIN study, what proportion of transfusion-dependent patients with MF achieved transfusion independence after 3 months of momelotinib treatment?

The efficacy of momelotinib in reducing spleen size, improving symptoms, increasing hemoglobin levels, and reducing transfusion dependency has been demonstrated in several clinical trials in both Janus kinase inhibitor (JAKi)-naïve and JAKi- exposed patients with myelofibrosis (MF).

This visual abstract summarizes real-world outcomes of momelotinib in patients with MF and anemia from the MOMGEMFIN study, published by Pérez-Lamas et al.1 in Blood Cancer Journal, as well as additional European real-world datasets, including a German retrospective chart review published by Al-Ali et al.2 in the abstract proceedings of the European Hematology Association (EHA) 2026 Congress, June 11–14, 2026, Stockholm, SE.
